LandscapExperts Tip of the Week, Sept. 9
Quick and Economical Edging
For
large projects a gas-powered edger is best, but for small edging jobs, use a nursery
spade to create an sharp edge to a garden bed or separate a flower garden from
the lawn.
Short-handled with a
straight rectangular blade, a nursery spade makes straight vertical cuts. Avoid garden shovels with rounded backs and pointed tips in order to cut a straight
line.
